How To Be Heard

October 30, 2007

I never really thought of it the was it was said. That a blog contains a certain amount of self interest. Well, in away I guess it does but as far as reading an article & then writing about how I felt about it or what I learned (to be Honest) doesn’t have any self interest on my be half. Well, then again I do learn something So I may have just contradicted myself. There are a lot of steps with the process of writing a blog. And its true I cannot write without thinking of maybe a few different ways to write what is on my mind or within my head. But once I do start & the more I write a blog I find it a little more easier to do. Which I think pertains to everything one does in life not just a blog. Another part of writing a blog I know I will enjoy is the design of it. Which will show readers a little about my interest. As stated before, even thought i know nothing about coding I think or at least hope I’m up for the challenge. So let then learning begin & hopefully it will never stop.

The article was straight and to the point & from my opinion very true. These days programs change on a fast pace and being skilled at one thing  is good but if you chose not to keep yourself up to date in that program and your field of study then you will be no use to a company, nor to yourself as far as being capable of providing a income. Basically once you stop having a drive to keep up with technology then you basically give up on having a promising career in Web Design.

The Wales-Wide Web

I agree that most of are learning take place outside a formal setting. Cause one can only learn so much from an educational institute. Plus what happens in the workplace can never be taught cause one can not go through all scenarios that may come about in someone’s life time other than there own. Also as stated in the article everyone has a different way or style of learning.  I would think PLE would be an application that one could get and mold it to how he/she learns. Not try to say it should be an expensive one that only a few could get but rather something affordable for all. That would definitely be a change in the corporate world. If that would be impossible to achieve then like many people have been doing is turning to the World Wide Web. Just like I am doing take information that I have read & writing about it to share with others my thoughts and being open to opinions. PLE is something I think we will never have a true meaning of cause if everyone was alike then maybe we could define it but since we are not in will never have just one meaning. A similar definition may be provided but I think that’s as far as it may get.

Honestly I’m not one to write blogs I knew wut they were but sitting down in front of my computer & typing about my thoughts & /or feelings just isn’t my thing. That being said this is my first “blog”, after reading the article I agree that everyone no matter young or old should & can never stop learning. I wouldn’t see any reason y anyone wouldn’t want to improve themselves. I think that web 2.0 is in my opinion kinda like a “so called” upgrade version of how the web has evolved. See how once we only were able to communicate by only typing to one another & now we have web-cam & mic’s to talk to each other on the web. I know after this class I will have learned more about some programs that I knew existed but never used & as far as terminology that will be another learning experience.
